Travel Grants

 

MSB 2020 conference aims at promoting participation of Early Career Scientists.

To help young scientists in attending the event, travel grants are available (see below).

 

 

Pharmelp Grants

 

Pharmelp is an association with non-lucrative purpose created to support the quality control and the screening of counterfeit medicines in emerging countries ( http://pharmelp.ch/?lang=en)

Pharmelp will attribute 2 grants each up to 550 euros corresponding to the regular fees of early career attendee looking for a PhD-plus Package.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Within 5 years of obtaining highest degree
  • Member of a laboratory involved or interested in the detection of falsified or sub-standard medicines
  • Registered to attend the conference and registered to the workshop : How to build an open-source capillary electrophoresis? - by Olivier Vorlet and Samuel Roth
  • Attend the conference in person and present the awarded abstract.

Candidates from emerging countries are encouraged to submit.

How to apply:

Motivation letters and abstract that are submitted for grants has to be sent to the President of Pharmelp :  Prof. Claude Rohrbasser (claude.rohrbasser@bluewin.ch) and will be reviewed by the Association Board.

     
 

Centre de Compétences Chimie et Toxicologie Analytiques 

 

The Centre de Compétences en Chimie et Toxicologie Analytiques (ccCTA - https://cccta.ch/) will attribute 2 grants each up to 550 euros corresponding to the regular fees of early career attendee looking for a PhD-plus Package.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Within 3 years of obtaining highest degree
  • Member of a laboratory involved or interested in the detection of falsified or sub-standard medicines
  • Registered to attend the conference and registered to the workshop: How to build an open-source capillary electrophoresis? - by Olivier Vorlet and Samuel Roth
  • Attend the conference in person and present the awarded abstract.

Chromatography and Electrophoresis Group of the Czech Chemical Society and the Spectroscopy Society. 

                 

 
  • Czech Young Researchers and PhD Students Under 35 in the area of Separation Methods and Mass Spectrometry (the so-called “Grant SMMS”)
  • Attending a major international conferences in the field of analytical separation methods and mass spectrometry is requirred.
  • Grant can cover travel costs and hotel costs.

Nederlandse vereniging voor massaspectromtrie (NVMS)

 

The NVMS Conference Fund has been established with the aim of promoting NVMS member participation in international congresses. The scholarships are available for researchers (Bsc, MSc, PhD, and Post-docs up to 2 years after receiving their PhD) that have an NVMS membership and have a research position in the Netherlands of at least 0.5 full-time equivalent. During congress participation, applicants should have the same position as held during fund application.

The grant has a value of €1000 and can be used to cover (part of) the conference fee, travel costs, lodging and other travel related costs.
