How to get to MSB 2020 – Transportation
 

 

Saint-Malo

The 36thInternational Symposium on Microscale Separations and Bioanalysis, MSB2020, will take place at the Congress Center “Palais du Grand Large” which located in the heart of a small beautiful Saint-Malo city. The city of Saint-Malo, and its regions are full of attractions for visitors of all ages. We encourage you to spend extra days at your own convenience to visit the area.

 

Transportation

The easiest way to reach Saint-Malo from other cities in France is by either high-speed (TGV) or express regional (TER) trains.

Closest international airports are Charles de Gaulle in Paris, and Rennes airport, in north-western France.  There are direct fligths between Paris and Rennes airports. 

 

Getting to Saint-Malo

From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG):

- By plane:  three daily flights to Rennes airport, then shuttle bus (see below).
By train: High-speed train (TGV) to Rennes, then Regional Express Train (TER) to Saint-Malo

From Paris city center: Direct high-speed trains (TGV) to Saint-Malo depart from the Montparnasse train station

From Rennes airport: The organisation of MSB 2020 will arrange an inexpensive bus shuttle service providing an one-hour trip to the Congress Centre. Updates and reservations will be made available on the website.

From Rennes train station: Regional Express Trains (TER) every hour to Saint-Malo (55 min trip)

From Saint-Malo train station: Free shuttles running every 30 min will be provided by the organisation of MSB2020 (5-min ride).

Major rental car companies (Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt) have offices in Saint-Malo.
