How to get to MSB 2020 – Transportation
 

 

Saint-Malo

The 36thInternational Symposium on Microscale Separations and Bioanalysis, MSB2020, will take place at the “Palais du Grand Large” Congress Center which is located in the heart of the small beautiful city of Saint-Malo. Saint-Malo and its region is full of attractions for visitors of all ages. We encourage you to spend a few extra days at your leisure to explore the area.

 

Transportation

You can travel to Saint-Malo by flying to the closest international airports: Charles de Gaulle in Paris, and Rennes airport, in north-western France.  There are also direct flights between Paris and Rennes airports. 

The easiest way to reach Saint-Malo from other cities in France is by either high-speed (TGV) or express regional (TER) trains.

 

Getting to Saint-Malo

From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG):

- By plane:  three daily flights to Rennes airport, then shuttle bus (see below).
By train: High-speed train (TGV) to Rennes, then Regional Express Train (TER) to Saint-Malo

From Paris city center: Direct high-speed trains (TGV) to Saint-Malo depart from Montparnasse train station

From Rennes airport: The MSB 2020 organisers will arrange an inexpensive bus shuttle service, which will take an hour to reach the Congress Centre. Updates and reservations will be made available on the website.

From Rennes train station: Regional Express Trains (TER) every hour to Saint-Malo (55 min trip)

From Saint-Malo train station: Free shuttles running every 30 min will be provided by the organisers of MSB2020 (5 minute journey).
